Pantron SlimLine Sensors are a compact photoelectric system that uses one transmitter and one receiver. No external amplifier is required. The system operates with modulated infrared light for strong immunity to ambient light and interference. Thanks to a wide aperture angle, they are easy to align at long distances, and remain stable with vibration and shock. Different sensor combinations can be used to tailor range and switching speed to the application. STA transmitters support ranges up to 15 m, STB up to 40 m, and three receiver classes are available for various detection distances and requirements.

Compact SR receiver versions with light-switching and dark-switching outputs, multiple range classes, and switching speeds matched to industrial sensing requirements.
Do not look directly into the transmitter. Depending on the mode of operation, these devices emit highly concentrated non-visible infrared light which can be hazardous to the human eye.
